Skip hire Poole pricing has been refreshed for 2026. The Waste Group has been delivering skip hire across Poole since 2007, and our 2026 price list covers all skip sizes from 4 yard mini skips through to 12 yard maxi skips, with options for general waste, inert (soil and rubble), and plasterboard. All skip hire Poole prices include VAT, 14-day hire, delivery and collection from our Wareham depot.

Hire Period & Wait-and-Load

The standard skip hire period is 14 days. If you need the skip for longer, an extension is charged at £30 per week — let us know before your hire period ends and we will arrange this for you.

For short jobs where you need the skip filled and removed the same day, our wait-and-load skip hire Poole service includes 45 minutes free of charge, with £120 per hour thereafter (charged in 30-minute increments). This is ideal for quick clearances where road or driveway access is limited.

What Can & Can’t Go in a Poole Skip

Most household, garden and construction waste is suitable for a general skip. The following items must be kept separate or carry additional charges due to UK waste disposal regulations — see the Government’s business waste disposal guidance for the underlying rules:

• Fridges, freezers and bulky WEEE — £36 to £50.40 each (additional charge). Commercial fridges priced on application.
• Tyres — car tyres £14.40 each, car tyres on rims £21.60, lorry tyres £43.20 each.
• Gas bottles, fire extinguishers, paint, batteries — all carry separate charges. Tell us at booking and we will quote inclusive.

• Tree roots — priced on application due to weight and disposal route.

Skip Permits in Poole
