Pay less for single-material loads — an inert skip (soil, rubble, concrete only) starts from £222 inc VAT. Dedicated plasterboard and garden-waste skips are available too. Also available: mini skips for small jobs, and RoRo containers (20–40yd) for commercial sites.

Why we’re not the cheapest “from £” you’ll see — and why that’s a good thing: some skip ads quote a headline price that climbs once delivery, the permit, VAT or weight allowances are added. What can go in a skip?

Most household and trade waste is fine — wood, metal, furniture, packaging, garden waste, bricks and rubble (in an inert skip) and renovation waste. What can’t go in any skip: asbestos (see our licensed asbestos disposal), tyres, car batteries, fridges/freezers, hazardous waste, and plasterboard mixed with general waste. Do I need a skip permit?

On your own driveway or garden, no permit is needed. If the skip goes on a public road or pavement, your council requires a permit — and we apply for it on your behalf and add it to your invoice. No paperwork for you.

Domestic & trade skip hire

One-off house clearance or regular site waste — we handle both. Trade and commercial customers can open an account for priority booking and simpler admin. For high-volume sites, RoRo containers and grab hire can work out cheaper than skips.
